Here are a few little sketches that I did this morning when I woke up at 5.30am and couldn't get back to sleep- they have uploaded really tiny, but I'm still trying to work out how to change that. I've been drawing this character for a few months but I just can't get it right yet, hopefully I'll post some more detailed drawings of her soon.

Dreaming

I drew these cute little houses today, and I am so pleased with them! I love houses and interiors and planning my house that I will have one day, and I would LOVE to live in one of these. I'm a little annoyed that my drawings always look a little bit fuzzy when I upload them to my blog, and I'm still trying to work out how to change that but hopefully I will do soon!

Faces

I bought some new paint brushes yesterday, and I absolutely love these little characters that I painted to test out my new brushes. I am finally becoming more confident with painting, and I'm going to attempt to stay away from fineliner pens for a while!

Panda

Pandas have been on the news a lot recently, and so I was a bit inspired and drew this little panda. The glasses were an after-thought, but I think he looks better with them.

Pink Hair

I'm cheating a little bit with this post- I didn't draw this today, it's from a few weeks ago, but this is my favourite recent drawing and so I wanted to share it on here because I love it. I think it would look nice as a Valentine's Day card- maybe I should make some.

Hello. My name is Amelia Flower, I’m 20 years old, and I am studying BA Animation Production at The Arts University, Bournemouth. I’ve been planning to start this blog for a few years, but never quite managed to get started, mainly because I never felt that I had much to blog about. Now that I’ve finished the first year of my degree, I feel like I’m finally producing work that I would be pleased to share. My plan is that this blog will mainly feature my illustrations, ideas, and University work. I spend most of my time drawing, and so I am excited to finally have a place to share my work!
